Dating rumours about the two had started circulating last year. Shraddha met Rahul on the sets of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, for which he was a writer. Their friendship eventually blossomed into romance.

A source close to the couple revealed – “After working on the film, they have been going strong. They are in a very comfortable position with each other, which is why they don’t feel the need to hide their affair. And that’s the reason they are getting spotted together more often.”

Shraddha Kapoor had even sported a pendant with the ‘R’ initial, fuelling more speculation. Shraddha and Rahul were also spotted attending Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities.

Rahul Mody is known for writing Kartik Aaryan’s Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015), Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018), Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makaar. He was also the creative director Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh starrer De De Pyaar De.

Shraddha will be seen next in the horror comedy Stree 2, alongside Rajkummar Rao. It will release in cinemas on 15th August 2024.
